When you start looking into a hair transplant in New York, the first question is almost always the same: how much is this going to cost me?
It's a surprisingly hard question to answer. Most clinics don't put prices on their websites. The ones that do often list a "starting from" number that has little to do with what you'll actually pay. Forums are full of people quoting prices from five years ago, or from a different city, or from Turkey. And the only way to get a real number is usually to book a consultation, which takes time, and sometimes costs money.
We built Hair Cost NYC because there wasn't one clear, honest place to see what a hair transplant costs in New York City. So we made one.
We bring NYC hair transplant pricing together in one place and break it down the way people actually think about it:
If you want a real quote for your own case, our free quote tool lets you share a few details and get written quotes from NYC clinics, without calling around yourself.
Our price ranges come from our own research into the pricing that NYC clinics publish on their websites, along with cost data from medical financing providers CareCredit and Alphaeon, which see what people actually borrow for these procedures.
We show ranges, not single numbers, on purpose. Two people with the same Norwood stage can pay very different amounts depending on the surgeon, how many grafts they need, and what's included in the quote. A range gives you a realistic picture. A single number would be a guess dressed up as a fact.
Prices change, so we review and update our figures regularly. The date at the top of our guides tells you when they were last updated.
We're not a clinic, and we're not doctors. We don't perform procedures, and nothing on this site is medical advice. Whether a hair transplant is right for you, and how many grafts you need, is something only a qualified, licensed surgeon can decide after examining you.
We're also not here to push you toward surgery. Plenty of people read our guides and decide to wait, try medication first, or not go ahead at all. That's a perfectly good outcome.
When you use our quote tool, we share your details with NYC clinics that match your request, so they can send you a quote. It's free for you, and you're never obligated to book anything. You can read exactly how we handle your information in our Privacy Policy.
